Random Bareboat Testimonial
Bareboat story from 19 Jun 2011

Wow!!!!
What else is there to say?
We had the best time on our lovely lady Lazyitis. We saw whales, Dugongs, Dolphins, Turtles and of course a couple of Nemos!
Considering we had only done 2 weekends away training in sailing prior to our trip everything went rather smoothly. There we were just the two of us with nothing but ocean and Islands. I have to admit the daily call ins were always good to have as it was our only way of getting the weather updates and of course the advice on where to go next and when the best time to go was which was fantastic.
Our first night was spent at Stonehaven. A lovely place to explore and of course as we are both photo buffs to take photos
Second night was spent at Buttefly Bay where I was brave and actually jumped in the water (I hate the cold!) and did a bit of snorkling and saw my first Doogong.
Third night was at Border Island....what a lovely place! Lots more snorkelling and of course a sip of champaign whilst watching the sun go down.
Fourth night was Whitehaven Beach, and yes it is white! Bring your sunnies everyone! We even saw a couple of Helicopters land on the beach. Went for a massive walk and even went for a dip!
Fifth night was spent on Hamilton Island. After surviving Solway passage in 20 knot winds (yes, I'm a chicken!) I was very glad to arrive on land at Hamilton Island. Actually we both fell in love with Hamilton Island as everyone was so freindly! Even the wildlife is freindly there! the next morning we managed to jump on a helicopter without doors! Woo Hoo (the only way to do it!)
Ahhhh our last night was spent at Cid Harbour....more champagne and a toast to a fabulous holiday!
Hmmm now for our next trip.............
Watch out Cumberland...we'll be back! Sandrine - TARRAGINDI, QLD 06 Jul 2011 Beneteau 323 Lazyitis Chartered: 19 Jun 2011
